The cheapest bid is not always the best!

Hello to all!

I am aware that many will get several bids and end up going with the cheapest bid. By no means should a client be taken advantage of, but take some time to learn the differences that each installer offers. For example, what kind of materials will your installer be using? Do they back butter each tile?, which is simply applying a coat of thinset on the back of the tile and the floor or wall which produces full coverage. For some companies the quality of your work will depend on the expertise of the sub contractor that is sent to complete the job. In some instances a cheap bid can result in poor craftsmanship which will result in the job having to be redone. I hope this assist in your process of choosing the best company to complete your job. Also note it is beneficial to the installer to charge by the job and not by square foot, depending on the job. When an installer is installing tile in a small area it can take more time than installing tile in larger areas.

Thanks for your time and have a blessed day!
